About 30 sportobektov renovate and build on Stavropole to 2015 year

Ministry of sport of Stavropol to 2015, intends to build and reconstruct 26 sports facilities in the province worth some two billion rubles, said Tuesday at a news briefing to journalists, the Minister of sport, physical education and youth policy of the region Victor Osipov.

"Currently enrolled with the finished design and estimate documentation and a guarantee of co-financing the construction and renovation of 26 sports facilities from 24 municipalities of the province worth about 2 billion rubles" said Osipov.

He explained that these objects may be included in a three-year development programme to develop an edge industry in the province for the 2013-2015 years. Total investment capacity programme will be about 1 billion rubles.

The Minister particularly emphasised that further plans no less ambitious. "We set ourselves the task of development strategy up to 2020, the industry annually enter five or six new objects on the territory of the region. This will be both sports schools and sports centers. The specified tempo we downgrade will not ", said the Minister.

Osipov said the Ministry conducts more than 1.7 thousands of provincial, municipal and district competitions with the participation of more than 1.6 million people. The number of regularly engaged in physical and sports activities in the province is steadily increasing in the past year alone, the increase was more than 1%, or 33 thousands more. Thus, the number of regularly engaged in physical activities and sports in 2011, reaching approximately 433 thousand or 15.5% of the population of the province. According to osipov, this growth was due to the construction of new sports and recreation complexes on the territory of the region.
