"Child world" may lose its unique Atrium-"Arhnadzor"

Child world may lose its unique Atrium-Arhnadzor #1

Representatives of the public movement "Arhnadzor" fear that the company "Gals-development soon may begin dismantling the interior designs in building" child world "department store in Central Moscow, which resulted in a unique Atrium Mall can be destroyed.

As reported by RIA Novosti, the Coordinator of a public movement "Arhnadzor" Marina Khrustaleva, on Saturday to "children's world" introduced tower cranes.

"Around the Department store a lot of work. We believe that the investor for reconstruction "Child World"-the company "Gals-Development"-is going to start dismantling the floors inside the building. As a result can be destroyed by the Atrium Mall, "the companion of the Agency.

She explained that, formally, the State is protected by only appearance, facade of the Mall, the monument of architecture and its interior is not the subject of protection.

However, in the autumn of that year, the team introduced the Department of cultural heritage of Moscow project full of protection "Child World" that includes not only facades, but internal components of the building, added the Coordinator of the "Arhnadzora".

Khrustaleva speculated that the investor of the project may try to undertake construction work inside the Department store, while its interior is not placed under protection as a historically valuable.

In turn, the representative of the press service of the company "Gals-Development" RIA news, that the building of the Central children's world "at the Lubyanka works on replacement of structural distress.

"Tower cranes are needed and will be applied within the framework of the project, maintaining and retaining walls of the building," he said.

The interlocutor of the Agency also stressed that "all work is carried out in the legal field and in strict accordance with permissive documentation issued by the Government of Moscow".

On Monday, "Arhnadzor" inquired in the unification of administrative and technical inspections (OATI), where he received information that the company's "22 December gals-Development" has been granted permission to hold the building "Child World" internal works on fragmented disassembly in accordance with the project, previously agreed with Moskomnaslediya, told RIA Novosti Khrustaleva.

On Tuesday, according to her, they again turn in OATI to find out exactly what developer-disassembly work allowed domestic designs or retaining walls.

"You can assume that Moskomnaslediya has agreed" Gals-development project to preserve and retain the exterior walls, but such work may be needed only to begin dismantling the internal structures of buildings, "added Khrustaleva.
