China is ready to assist Russia in building the infrastructure for special economic zones, said Premier Wen Jiabao on the basis of signing joint documents after meetings of the 15 th Regular Meeting of Prime Ministers of the two countries in St. Petersburg on Tuesday.

"Chinese companies are ready to take part in building infrastructure in special economic zones" - said Wen.

He also reported that Chinese authorities are ready to actively cooperate with Russia on natural resource management and environmental protection.

In addition, Wen noted that China, as always, is open for humanitarian cooperation with Russia.

"We stand ready to assist in the study of Russian youth of Chinese language," - said Prime Minister Wu Yi.
