Input of habitation in Russia in 2012, will increase to a minimum of 67 million square meters, with 62.3 million in 2011, told reporters on Thursday, Minister for regional development of the Russian Federation Viktor Basargin.

"The challenge this year to build at least 67 million square meters of housing. Basis for this is. Today, the building permits issued for the volume of blocks of flats in 55 million square meters, plus individual construction ", the Minister said.

According to him, taking into account the individual building construction start is 82 million square meters. "The program will grow", he said.

"In 2011, we have handed over 63 million square metres of housing, and in the long term to three years volumes will be increased 1.5 times up to 90 million square meters/" Basargin.

Russian companies increased in 2011 compared to 2010 year of putting into operation of housing at 6.6% to 62.3 million square meters.
