Komi authorities completed the selection of new housing to widows of miners in Vorkuta and Inta

Foundation charitable initiatives of Komi has completed the selection of housing 132 widows of miners in Vorkuta and Inta (Komi Republic) outside of the company towns in the resettlement program in this category, the northerners, told RIA Novosti on Tuesday, head of the Privatization Agency of the Komi Property Management Valery Terentyev.

In March 2011, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin during a working meeting in Moscow with representatives of the community of widows of miners Komi Russia ordered the government to provide for resettlement in this category, residents of Vorkuta and Inta 117 million rubles. The same amount on his proposal to provide JSC "Severstal " raw division of which (JSC "Severstal-Resource ") is owned enterprise of "Vorkutaugol ". Putin said that widows should get new housing (in commissioned houses) in the property, and the old - in Vorkuta and Inta - will remain at their disposal.

As reported by Terentyev, for the past six months, fund philanthropic initiatives of Komi, who was engaged in finding housing for widows, offered each family a choice of several options of apartments in areas where they wished to move.

As explained to RIA Novosti in the fund, the application met the widows and 27 regions. Most families of the dead miners was chosen as the new permanent residence Belgorod region. Also in the top three popular areas of Yaroslavl and Nizhny Novgorod.
