Medical Center of Moscow State University will open the beginning of the school year - Luzhkov

Medical Center of Moscow State University (MSU), which also house the School of Medicine, will open by the beginning of the new academic year, told reporters Saturday in Moscow's mayor during the visit construction sites.

"There were various conversations that the building would take away from MSU for some purposes. These conversations, we quickly stopped, I can tell that this building will be used only for medical school. And no other purpose other than educational, research and health care in his will not "- said the mayor.

Luzhkov said that now need to look for sources of financing for the acquisition of modern medical equipment.

"It is necessary that the specialists have full skills with the most ultramodern facilities," - he said.

According to him, in the building warm and comfortable, it is necessary for any educational institution.

Medical Center is intended for research, Faculty of Fundamental Medicine of Moscow State University, and for providing high-quality medical hospital and advice. The center is designed for 528 medical personnel.

Center complex consists of five interconnected buildings of 3 to 9 floors. The main building housed a hospital for 300 beds, two operating rooms, Intensive care units, two X-ray room and basic services.
