Putin proposed to place pension funds in mortgage-backed securities

Russian President Vladimir Putin offered to think about the possibility of engaging in business turnover of pension savings of Russians, according to Prime-Tass.

He noted that these funds could be used in the banking turnover, "including by placing them into mortgage-backed securities.

However, the president emphasized that the pension funds and savings to work in a special regime, they must be specially protected.
