The Government of Russia for the New Year has provided the Ministry of Defense has 2,7 thousand housing certificates

The Government of Russia in 2009 increased the number of housing certificates, with soldiers, from 45 thousand to 47.7 thousand, said on Wednesday Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov.

"Decree of the Government envisaged the allocation of additional 2,7 thousand public housing certificates to the Ministry of Defence. It's really a great gift for the New Year," - said Serdyukov.

He recalled that in the current year, the Government of Russia Defense Ministry has already allocated 45 thousand of such certificates.

Defense Minister noted that his department has already undertaken work on the distribution of these apartments.

"Already specifically itemized name," - said Serdyukov. He said that the soldiers will receive new apartments for 2010.
