The index value of 1 sq m luxury housing Moscow grew by 7% for 2011.

The index value of one square meter in the elite new buildings of Moscow based consulting companies Knight Frank, Ernst & Young and IntermarkSavills, grew by the year 2011, as compared with the 2010 year, almost 7 per cent to 20.8 thousand dollars, in a joint communication consultants.

The index value of the residential buildings of the capital elite (the KEYS of the City Index) is calculated from the fourth quarter of 2010 year. The index value is determined by the 22 projects on the primary housing market premium of Moscow, where developers fully established prices and terms of sale.

"In the fourth quarter of 2011, prices of elite apartments in Moscow showed a 1% increase",-stated in the record companies.

According to the study, the index value of one square meter in new premium taken into operation, was on December 31, 2011, 23.83 thousands of dollars at 1.6 per cent higher than the end of 2010.

At the same time, according to experts, the most for the 2011 year has increased the cost of one square metre in index of elite projects under construction above-ground parts of buildings-by 24.1% to $ 23.83.

Since the second quarter of 2011, Knight Frank, Ernst & Young and IntermarkSavills calculate the index value of the dwelling for the primary high-end market near Moscow. Rate is calculated as of December 31, 2011, 18 premium projects, which are the primary sales and developers fully formed the prices and conditions of sale.

The index value of 1 square meter on the primary country market luxury housing in the fourth quarter of 2011, was 5.07 thousands of dollars, falling to 2.1% compared with the third quarter and 6% growth in comparison with the second quarter, from the experts.
