The plant for production of ceramic tiles and sanitaryware to be built by mid-2009 in the town of Armavir, Krasnodar region, said on Monday the press service of the regional department of industry.

According to the department, 2,688 billion rubles in the construction of the plant invests ZAO Armavir ceramic factory.

"In Armavir by mid-2009 will create a modern manufacturer of various kinds of ceramic tiles and sanitaryware, corresponding to the quality of the best foreign analogues", - says the document.

The construction of such plant in the province will saturate the Russian, including a regional, market-quality building materials of domestic production, said the press office.

"The planned capacity of the plant - 30 million square meters of ceramic tiles for walls and floors and 2 million pieces of sanitaryware per annum," - noted in the message.
