The procedure for the adoption of technical regulations will be simplified

According to First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the procedure for adoption of technical regulations should be greatly simplified.

In the case of delaying the adoption of technical regulations will remain a dual situation, which will affect the economy, including housing, said Medvedev.

In the two years to prepare technical regulations has been expended about 250,000,000 rubles, the vice premier noted, however, in parallel with the regulations continue to operate the old rules, jeopardizing the introduction of a new system of technical regulation.

According to the head of Industry and Energy Viktor Khristenko, the Ministry is ready to ensure that data standards are adopted by government. The complexity of the existing procedure for the adoption of regulations called the ideology of the law on technical regulation aimed at protecting the regulations of any arbitrary changes and transformations, said Khristenko.

For the period up to 2010 need to develop some 300 regulations, currently about 60 regulations developed on its own initiative, and will undergo an examination in the government, said the head of Ministry of Industry.

Industry and Energy Ministry has submitted to the government project to establish a single body for accreditation and the Unification of accreditation procedures, as well as a draft order to the program design technical regulations for 2006-2008, said the head of the ministry.
