Voronezh region. 1,5 times increase of social facilities received funding for construction projects

The authorities of the Voronezh Region in 2008 will increase the amount of financing the construction of social facilities received in the region up to 2.4 billion rubles, or more than one and a half times more than last year's funding of this area, told RIA Novosti on Monday, Officer of the press center the regional administration.

"If in 2007 the construction of social facilities of the regional budget was sent to 1 billion 438 million rubles, but this year - nearly a billion rubles more. The cost of the regional capital construction program in 2008 as high as ever - it is more than 2,4 billion rubles "- said the employee of the press center.

He said that more than 300 million rubles will be invested in improving water supply of cities and villages of the area. In particular, the expansion of water networks in Kalach, construction of water mains in the city of Liski, reconstruction of water supply in the village Podgorensky, works to improve water supply in the village of Upper Mamon, Ertil and a number of locations. It is also planned to expand pumping station number four in Voronezh.

According to him, and about 300 million rubles will be spent on construction of sports complexes, stadiums and swimming pools.

"The program this year was listed 16 such objects", - explained the agency.

He said that about the same amount - 300 million rubles - in the provincial budget is scheduled for construction and reconstruction of 18 schools, but the most significant financial investments from the regional budget will receive this year's regional health.

"The volume of available health care resources more than 1 billion rubles. The program of capital construction 25 sites," - said the press officer.

According to him, this year with the participation of the federal budget in the region begins the construction of three major centers of high-tech health care - cardio surgery, perinatal and oncology.
